No charge on ATM withdrawal

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made a provision of free interbank ATM transaction. NRB has made the provision in monetary policy announced today.

Though the banks had made the electronic transaction free after COVID 19, recently Nepal Bankers Association, Development Bankers Association Nepal and Nepal Financial Institutions Association had issued a press release saying that the charges will be resumed interbank ATM transaction from Thursday. With the announcement today, cardholders can withdraw cash from ATMs of all banks free of charge.
