Colleges affiliated to TU opens from today

However, regular classes and libraries will not be opened now.  

Kathmandu: Colleges affiliated with Tribhuvan University will be opened from Wednesday.

With the end of lockdown from June 21, Tribhuvan University informed about the end of public holiday for teachers and staff through a notice.

However, according to TU registrar, regular classes will not take place and libraries won’t be open now.

The educational institutions were closed since March 24, 2020, due to nationwide lockdown to prevent coronavirus infection.

All the exams were postponed and teachers were given leave during the lockdown period.

According to Surya Prashad Adhikari, chief of information and public relation, TU, all the colleges affiliated to TU will come into operation from June 22.
