Government directs to stop PCR tests

Kathmandu: Ministry of Health and Population has directed not to do RDT test.

Dr Jaageshwar Gautam, spokesperson of Ministry, during the press briefing has directed all the province, local unit and private hospitals to stop RDT tests. The government had been giving priority to RDT tests.

The experts have been continuously suggesting the government to increase the number of PCR tests and stop RDT tests.
