Microsoft planning to buy TikTok

NewYork: American President Donald Trump has said that he will give 45 days for negotiation for a sale of TikTok app to Microsoft Corp.

President Trump, who had been planning to ban TikTok app has allowed Microsoft to acquire Tiktok after a discussion with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. US politicians have been showing concerns that the Chinese government could use the app to spy US citizens and use to manipulate the thought process when the election is nearing.

American Republican Senator Lindsay tweeted “A win-win in the making,” on Sunday, immediately responding to Trump’s decision.

Relationship between the United States of America and China has been weakening due to issues including trade and spread of COVID 19. Recently, the issue of TikTok has also been a cause of dispute between the two countries.
