Price of gold soars above 100K mark

Kathmandu: The price of gold has hit a new record in the Nepalese market. The price increased by Rs  1600 per tola (11 grams approximately) on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold And Silver Dealers Association.

According to the federation, gold was traded for Rs 99,800 per tola on Tuesday but the price has surged to Rs 101,400 per tola on Wednesday. The dealers say their business is completely down due to the skyrocketing price.

Likewise, the price of silver per tola has reached Rs 1,295. The price was Rs 1,230 per tola a day ago
