Gold price soars by Rs 1000

Kathmandu: The price of precious yellow metal, which crossed Rs 1, 00,000 marks recently, continues to surge on Friday. The price of gold reached an all-time high of Rs 103,500 per tola (11 grams approx.) on Friday. On Thursday, the rate was Rs 102,500.

The price has surged by Rs 1,000 within a day.

Likewise, the price of silver has also been continuously increasing. The price of silver per tola was Rs 1,345 until a day ago. On Friday, the price rose to Rs 1,405, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold And Silver Dealers Association.
