Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has directed banks and financial institutions (BFIs) to make arrangement for their employees to work from home. Due to the increasing risk of Covid-19 infection, the central bank has asked the BFIs to follow the ‘remote’ work system.
If work from home is not possible for all the employees, the institution must arrange shift-wise routine, says a circular issued by NRB.
NRB noted that the government has implemented the odd and even rule for vehicles so that it creates less crowd. It has directed BFIs to manage the shifts accordingly.
