Nepal, Israel sign pact to remove visa hassles
Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal has signed an agreement with Israel to remove the hassles of visa for diplomatic passport holders.
From now onwards, citizens of Israel and Nepal with diplomatic passport don’t need visa for 90 days for travelling to each other’s country.
Nepal’s Ambassador to Israel Anjan Shakya and Foreign Minister of Israel, Gabi Ashkenazi, signed the agreement to this effect amid a small ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem.
During the program, Ambassador Shakya urged the Israel government to select Nepali students who have come to “learn and earn”and extend their training from 11 months to develop them as experts/consultants.
Similarly, the Nepalese ambassador also appealed to the Israel government to open the caretaking sector for the Nepalis so that they can get employment opportunities in Israel.
