Airbnb bans party houses to prevent coronavirus infection

Agency: Airbnb is restricting house parties globally to limit gatherings amid coronavirus outbreak in line with the standard health guidelines and protocols to prevent the disease from spreading.

According to the company, the occupancy in the rental homes is limited to 16 people.

The company says that it will take legal action against guests and hosts who violate the rule.

Last week, the company took legal action against its guest for violating a ban on unauthorized parties.

Reportedly, the company is trying to implement social-distancing rules to prevent the spread of the infection.

Earlier, Airbnb restricted the guests under the age of 25 from booking flat.

In December, the company banned parties held without the host’s permission from its listings. This decision came after a mass shooting at California home rented through Airbnb in November.
