Kathmandu: The government has directed Air Arabia to return the extra ticket fare it allegedly charged the passengers during a recent flight.
Following concerns regarding the exorbitant ticket price that Air Arabia charged on 25th August, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai directed the airlines to return the amount.
The extra cost included PCR test charge of 142 passengers, and RDT charge of 18 passengers in addition to the hotel charges. The minister warned the airline company to return the extra money that the passengers had to spend needlessly.
Minister Bhattarai said that the passenger had to pay twice for the hotel, where they had to stay in quarantine.
