More than 100 million will lose job by 2021: UN

Agency: United Nations says that the gap between financial status of male and female will increase in the near future owing to the Covid-19 crisis.
UN has expressed its concern towards the increasing unemployment.
UN has predicted that around 45 million women and children will be affected by next year. According to UN, the low-income families and daily wage workers are suffering financially due to the Covid-19 prohibitory orders. UN has estimated that mostly women have lost their job due to the current crisis.
According to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), around 100 million people will lose their job by next year. Among them, more than half will be women, UN said in a recent report.
