Man lynched in Bangladesh for insulting Qaran

Agency: Hundreds of people in a Bangladeshi town lynched a man suspecting that he insulted the Muslim holy book, according to Aljazeera.

On Thursday, the crowd seized two men who had been in official custody after they were accused of stepping on the Holy Qaran. The incident took place at a mosque of Burimari in Lalmonirhat district which is more than 300 kilometers (186 miles) northwest of Dhaka.

Hundreds of people had rushed to the scene and took away one of the men to a nearby area and beat him and set his body on fire, according to Aljazeera.  The police recovered charred boy of the man.

According to the news, the 35-year old victim was struggling with psychological issues after he lost job as a librarian at a college.
