Agency: European countries announce new measures against Covid-19

Austria and Portugal have announced new restrictions to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

In Austria, the government has announced night-time curfew from 20:00 to 6:00 hours. Restaurants will be only allowed to serve takeaway foods.

In Portugal, the government has said that the people have to stay at home except for office works, school and other emergency tasks.

Similarly, France had introduced guidelines last week. Likewise, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced a lockdown in the UK from yesterday.

According to the BBC, gyms and museums will remain open. Similarly, Kindergartens and primary schools will remain open while the educational institutions will go for online learning.

Portugal also announced new measures on Saturday, which will apply to 121 communes out of 308 in the country.

Portugese Prime Minister Antonio Costa have said the people to stay at home and work remotely from their respective places.

He said that the measures will be reviewed in two weeks.
