Top priority for agriculture sector: Kishore Pradhan

Kathmandu: Kishore Pradhan, vice-president of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) and nominee for the post of senior vice president said that he will focusing on agricultural modernization, if he wins the election.  “This will be my priority area,” Pradhan said to Nepal Khoj.

Similarly, Saurabh Jyoti, director of Jyoti group and candidate for Vice-President, Associate said that he will be prioritizing on making labor reforms, if we wins the election. “For this, the government must help us by forming friendly policies for industries. The more we focus on entrepreneurship, more jobs will be created,” he added speaking with Nepal Khoj. “This will be beneficial to create more employment in the country.”

The election for the umbrella association of industrialists, businessmen and traders, Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries is underway today.

The result of the election is expected to be out by mid-night today.

The election for executive members is going on in three venues- FNCCI head office in Teku, Karki Banquet in Babarmahal and Nepal Academy in Kamaladi.
