Nepal will not experience load-shedding, now and in the future: NEA

Kathmandu: Residents have been showing concerns about abrupt power cuts. Amid the worries and complaints, Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has said that load-shedding will not be imposed now or in the future.

Issuing a press statement, NEA clarified that load-shedding will not be imposed now and in the future.

The statement says that the power supply is being interrupted because of overload in the system.

The statement clarifies that the power cuts has been taking place due to infrastructural changes and also due to transfer and replacement of old electricity poles.
