Kathmandu: Banks and Financial Institutions have said that they will charge a fee for electronic transactions from July 16. Following the lockdown implemented by the government to prevent the coronavirus infection, Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs) had made all the electronic transaction free due to mobility restriction.
According to the press release issued by Nepal Bankers Association, Development Bankers Association Nepal and Nepal Financial Institutions Association on Wednesday, charges might be applied in the use of interbank ATM cards. It is reported that this decision has been made because of lockdown ease.
