Transport entrepreneurs ready to move from Monday

Kathmandu: Transport entrepreneurs have agreed to operate public transport from Monday.   The government had given permission for the operation of public transport from July 11.

The public vehicles had suspended movement since the lockdown announced on March 24. However, after more than three months, the government allowed the mobility of public transport following guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO).

The transport entrepreneurs have decided to go on the operation after the meeting between them and the labour union in the transport sector.

At this situation, the vehicles can move to all three districts of the capital. However, the transportation won’t be allowed to run from one district to another, outside the valley.
