Govt tells private sector workers to undergo PCR tests with their own money

 

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has directed all hospitals to conduct mandatory PCR tests of medical professionals.

Many doctors, nurses and health practitioners have displayed symptoms of Covid-19 infection.

Similarly, the ministry has also urged shopping malls, hotels and factories to test their workers for Covid-19 disease.

The ministry has requested the employees to undergo PCR tests with their own money. As the infection is increasing every day, the employees have to undergo PCR tests with their own expense, said Dr. Jaageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population.
