Democrats formally nominate Joe Biden as presidential candidate

 

AP: Democrats in the United States have formally nominated Joseph R. Biden Jr as the presidential candidate from their side for the November election.

Biden is an American politician who is the member of the Democratic Party. He served as 47^th vice president of the US from 2009 to 2017.

Biden, who is 77 years old, has been a six-time senator from Delware ever since he was first elected in 1972. He has already spent around 50 years in public life.

It is reported that he will deliver his acceptance speech on Thursday night.
