Tokha Municipality to provide Rs 350 per day to coronavirus patient in home isolation

 

Kathmandu: Tokha Municipality has announced to provide Rs 350 per day to the Covid-19 positive patients who are willing to stay in isolation.

Tokha Municipality has also decided to provide risk allowance to the medical professionals in the forefront against Covid-19.

According to Prakash Adhikari, chief of ward-15 in Tokha Municipality, the local unit will pay for the insurance coverage of medical professionals.

Due to the increasing coronavirus infections every day, Tokha Municipality has decided to convert public buildings of different wards into isolation centres.

Similarly, the municipality has also formed a nine-member committee headed by deputy mayor Gyanmaya Dangol to arrange ventilators for the coronavirus patients.
