Apple reaches the market cap of $2 trillion

Agency: Apple Inc. has become the first company from the USA with a market value of $2 trillion. Its shares had reached $1 trillion two years ago.

The shares of Apple have increased by 60 percent this year despite the pandemic, which has pushed many companies into crisis.

According to the Financial Times, the shares of the company have crossed the of $467.77 mark per unit that gives Apple the valuation of $2 trillion.

The company which was established in 1976 reached the valuation of $1 trillion in August 2018. The New York Times writes that it took 42 years to reach $1 trillion in value and it took just two years to double the valuation.
