Govt to revoke PCR test permission of private hospitals without isolation wards

 

Kathmandu: The government has warned of revoking the permission for PCR tests of  those hospitals which don’t maintain isolation wards for treatment of coronavirus patients.

Following the increase in number of coronavirus patients, the government had given permission for PCR test to the private hospitals.

Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population said that the private hospitals need to keep at least 20 percent of beds for treatment of patients in isolation, otherwise their permission for PCR test will be revoked.
