There is no scarcity of emergency drugs: DDA

 

Kathmandu: The Department of Drug Administration has said that there is no scarcity of medicine in Nepal. Although there are some challenges in importing medicine from third countries there is no scarcity of emergency drugs, the department confirmed.

According to Narayan Prashad Dhakal, director general of the department, they have not received any information regarding shortage of medicine. He said that though the supply of medicine has been delayed due to the current situation, there is no scarcity of medicine till now.
