Around 50,000 people participating in clinical trial of Covid-19 vaccine made by China

 

 

Agency: Many countries have given permission to China for the clinical testing of the Covid-19 vaccine.

The companies in China have been testing their vaccine in other countries as there isn’t much infection in China now.

China National Biotech Group (CNBG) and Sinovac Biotech Limited of China have been making vaccine against Covid-19. According to those companies, clinical trials are going on in Bahrain, the UAE, Morocco, Peru and Argentina. Similarly, countries including Serbia and Pakistan have also agreed for the testing for the third phase. Around 50,000 people of different countries are participating in the phase 3 of clinical trials developed by China.

Earlier, on August 31, Sinovac Biotech had got the approval to use vaccine among high-risk groups under a programme named CoronaVac in China.
