Apple to launch online store in India
Apple Inc has announced to launch its online store in India on September 23.
For the first, the residents of India will now be able to buy Apple products directly from the company.
The online store will offer Apple’s products and provide customer support directly to those who purchase Apple products. “The new online store will provide customers with the same premium experience found in Apple stores located around the world, delivered by online team members who are ready to offer their expertise,” mentions a press release issued by Apple.
Apple has been operating in India for more than 20 years. The company has given direct and indirect employment to 9,00,000 people across the country.
According to the Apple release, the online stores will “ship with contactless delivery” amid coronavirus pandemic. The company has said that the orders which do not require signature will be left at customers’ door. Also, the products which need signature can also get verbal confirmation by maintaining physical distance.
