Government approves Remdesivir for treatment of Covid-19 patients

 

Kathmandu: The government has decided to use Remdesivir, an antiviral injection, for the treatment of coronavirus patients with serious symptoms. Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, has said that hospitals need to administer Remdesivir to the serious patients.

According to Gautam, the government is providing the medicine for free, and if someone has procured the medicine, the person has to submit the bill to the Ministry of Health for a refund.
