Shortcut path to Rara lake constructed

 

A new path has been constructed from Khalanga bazaar to Rara lake, a popular tourist destination in Mugu district. Earlier, tourists had a take a path towards Sinja to reach Rara. However, with the construction of this short way, now the travelers can reach the lake in 3.5 hours.

Currently, 2-3 vehicles travel to and fro in this area. The arrival of tourists has drastically decreased due to coronavirus.

Jay Bahadur Buda, one of the residents of the Patarasi Municipality of Mugu district, believes this shortcut road will attract many tourists in the upcoming days. “The tourists will enjoy the scenery along this road,” he said.
