Google Meet to limit the time for free version from Sept 30

 

Google Meet will limit the time for free version of meet till 60 minutes from September 30.

 

Till September 30, anyone with a Google account is allowed to organise free meetings with up to 100 people without any time restrictions.

 

Earlier in April, Google said that the time for free meeting will be limited to 60 minutes beginning from September 30. The tech giant has stuck with its timeline.

 

Advanced features including Gsuite and GSuite for education customers, live-streams involving up to 100,000 people with single domain and recording meeting in Google Drive will not be allowed from the date fixed by Google.

The tech giant saw a growth of 30 times every day since it made the advanced feature GSuite and GSuite for education free. Google is hosting three billon minutes of video meeting every day since then.
