Nepal-India Franchise Expo Award and Summit from Oct 16
Kathmandu: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu is organizing the second edition of Nepal-India Franchise Expo Award and Summit from October 16 to 18.
The expo aims to bring both Nepali and Indian brands in the same place and promote investment opportunities among each other. The motive of the expo also includes technology sharing and learning about business models.
During the expo, more than 100 popular brands will participate in exhibition. Similarly, there will be more than 2,000 investors, dealers and other stakeholders.
The first edition of the expo was organized in Kathmandu last year. The organizers are doing virtual expo for this edition because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The annual expo is considered as a significant event which helps to share franchise opportunities among various startups and other companies and promote investment opportunities.
Altogether 10 brands from Nepal and 50 brands from India had participated in the first edition.
The expo provided opportunities to more than 2,000 entrepreneurs to build relationship with others and learn innovative approaches.
More than 100 brands including Coca-Cola, Lens kart and others already have presence in Nepal. Similarly, Nepali brands are also getting popular nowadays.
Experts believe that expo like Nepal-India Franchise Expo Awards and Summit helps to promote the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in the country and also enhance the bilateral economic relation.
