Facebook removes Trump’s post and Twitter disables retweet

 

Agency: Facebook has removed the post of US President Donald Trump saying that he has spread rumor and fake news about Covid-19. Twitter has disabled retweet for the same post.

After spending three days in hospital, Trump said that coronavirus is like flu. Twitter and Facebook have taken action against his writing saying that the information is fake.

Before deleting Trump’s post, it was already shared for 26,000 times in Facebook.

“We remove any fake information related to Covid-19,” said the spokesperson of Facebook speaking with Reuters.

Trump mentioned in his Facebook post and Tweet that Covid-19 is less deadly than seasonal flu. Reportedly, this is the second time Facebook has removed Trump’s tweet. First time, Facebook removed his post when he posted a video which said that the immunity power of children against coronavirus is high.
