Rules tightened in England, Scotland and Wales

Agency: UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced series of stricter coronavirus restrictions and had tightened rules around household mixing. Leaders in Scotland and Wales also have introduced strict measures, according to CNN.

UK has among the highest Covid death rates in Europe. UK has more than 67,000 fatalities and two million COVID 19 cases till now.

Similarly, in Scotland, Covid restrictions will only be relaxed on the Christmas Day.

Likewise, First Minister Mark Drakeford said that the country will be placed under lockdown from midnight, writes CNN.
