Thailand sees surge in COVID cases

Agency: It has been reported that recently Thailand has been hit worst COVID-19 outbreak .

Several thousands of people are being tested after hundreds of cases linked to its biggest seafood.

Thailand has been recorded a relatively low virus cases. There were just 4,000 cases and 60 deaths recorded before this latest outbreak.

Thailand was the first country outside China to register cases of COVID 19.

According to Health Officials, most cases have been identified as asymptomatic, reported Reuters.

The workers have been ordered to stay at home.

The surge started when a 67 year old Thai female prawn seller tested positive on Thursday.

Four cases were reported on the next day and by Sunday, the number jumped to 689 cases, most of them Myanmar migrants. Migrant workers, mostly workers from Myanmar were seen waiting to get coronavirus test, writes BBC.
