Trump Administration Appeals Court order Blocking App Restrictions:TikTok US Ban
The Trump administration is not giving up on its campaign against TikTok.
The US government appealed a decision handed down by a federal judge earlier this month that prevented authorities from fully implementing its restrictions, according to CNN Business
The video-sharing social networking service has not responded to the comment.
US President Donald Trump has accused Tik Tok of posing a national security risk. Trump said the company owned by ByteDance, which is a Chinese company could be forced to hand over TikTok’s user data to the Chinese government.
According to CNN Business, TikTok denied the claim and said that TikTok stores US user data in Virginia and Singapore.
Trump administration on Monday appealed a federal judge’s order blocking restrictions that would have effectively barred the use of Chinese-owned Tiktok.
