Renewal of labor permit to be made online from tomorrow

Kathmandu: The Department of Foreign Employment will be bringing online service for renewal of labor permits.

According to Department of Foreign Employment, the online renewal service will start from January 1, 2021.

Till now, the people need to report to Kathmandu-based department’s office in Kathmandu for the renewal process.

The cost of two-year labor permit is Rs 1,500. Similarly, they must pay Rs 2,500 for a labor permit for a period of more than two years.

One needs to submit eyes and fingerprint scan for the permit. The deparmtent has made arrangements in the website for the process while filling up the form.
