Human body remains pulled from crash site: Indonesian flight crash

Agency: Human remains and plane wreckage have been pulled from the crash site where an Indonesian flight plunged into ocean immediately after takeoff, reports CNN.

The Sriwijaya Air flight 182- a Boeing 737-500 – was flying from Jakarta to Pontianak. The flight lost contact at 2:40 pm local time. Reportedly, the flight crashed immediately after takeoff.

According to the Global Flight Tracking Service, the plane dropped 10,000 feet in less than a before disappearing from the radar.

According to the CNN, Indonesian Navy Drivers found a wreckage from flight SJY 182 after locating a signal from aircraft’s fuselage.

The crash site was confirmed Sunday morning by the Indonesian National Armed Forces. Navy drivers were deployed to search or the wreckage.
