Extremely heavy rainfall likely in four provinces

Kathmandu. Currently, there is influence of monsoon wind across the country. There is possibility of light to moderate rainfall at some places of hilly regions of Koshi province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki province, Lumbini Province and Sudurpaschim Province as well as light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely at few places in the remaining areas.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, heavy rainfall has been forecast at one or two places of hilly region of the country as well as there is possibility of light to moderate rainfall as well as snowfall at few places of high-hilly and mountainous region of the country.

Partial to generally cloudy weather is likely throughout the country today night, added the Division. Light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning has been predicted at some places of hilly region and few places in the remaining areas.

Heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces as well as light to moderate rainfall and snowfall at few places of high-hilly and mountainous region. RSS
