Govt bringing regulation for ride sharing

 

Kathmandu: Government is in the process of making regulation related to the registration of ride-sharing services.

Operation of ride services including Tootle and Pathao has been disrupted by the government from time to time.

According to Gogan Bahadur Hamal, director-general of Department of Transport Management, regulation for ride-sharing services is being formed.

“We have kept the provision related to transport management in the bill,” he added “The bill has been sent to Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ministry. We are planning to bring the act to facilitate such services.”
