Request to restrict vehicle mobility from high risk district

 

Kathmandu: The Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has recommended the government to restrict vehicular movement from one district to another. The center has urged the government to restrict the vehicles in districts with more than 200 cases of coronavirus.

CCMC decided to recommend the government to take such action after a meeting at Singhadurbar on Sunday. The meeting concluded that there has been a surge in coronavirus cases and therefore decided to limit mobility of  vehicles.

Currently, most restaurants are already open for dining. The CCMC has requested the government to order the restaurants to open for takeaways only.

Also, the center has requested the government to reduce the number of international border entry points from 20 to 10.
