Educational institutions to remain closed for indefinite period

 

Kathmandu: Educational institutes will remain closed for an indefinite period of time due to surge in Covid 19 infection, according to government spokesperson Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada.

Minister Khatiwada announced this after a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday. He informed that the educational institutions will remain shut until further notice.

Similarly, people from districts with more than 200 cases of coronavirus will not be allowed to enter the Kathmandu Valley, he said.

Likewise, seminars have been banned and party palaces, saloons and libraries will also be closed until further notice.
