Nepal Insurance Company appoints Ishwar Pokhrel as CEO

 

Kathmandu: Nepal Insurance Company has appointed Ishwar Pokhrel as its new CEO.

Pokhrel had resigned from the post of CEO from United Finance a few months ago. Prior to this, he had also worked with SBI Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.

He was appointed for the position after a meeting of the Board of Directors of the insurance company. Similarly, Niraj Basnet has been appointed as director general of the insurance company. Prior to this, Basnet was finance head of Premier Insurance. The vacant posts were filled through open competition by the company.
