नेपालखोज २०७७ भदौ १० गते १२:१५

Kathmandu: Authorities have started tree count for the construction of Nijgadh International Airport. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has already completed the count of 60,000 trees.

Besides cutting trees, the project officials also have to shift the settlements for the construction of the airport.

According to the ministry, the construction has not started because of lack of coordination between concerned parties.

Another national pride project, Pokhara Regional Airport, is expected to be ready by June, 2021. Similarly, the works of Gautam Buddha International Airport in Lumbini has been affected due to lack of human resource amid coronavirus crisis.

Concerned authorities claim that the construction of the airport will be complete within three months after the workers return at the site.
