Laxmi Bank appoints Raman Nepal as chairperson

Kathmandu: Laxmi Bank has appointed Raman Nepal as its chairperson. The board of directors decided to appoint Nepal after a meeting on Wednesday.

Newly-appointed chairperson Nepal took the oath of office through online medium. Nepal was a board member of the bank since 2075 BS. Currently, he is the executive director of Citizens Investment Trust.

Citizens Investment Trust is the main promoter of Laxmi Bank.  The Trust has 15 percent share in Laxmi Bank.

Nepal is retired official of Nepal Bank Limited. He worked in Nepal Bank for 30 years in various departments including monitoring, supervision and remittance and other areas.
