Messaging app Telegram introduces new features

 

Telegram, a cloud-based instant messaging app, has launched new features for users in its latest update. The new features including search filters, channel comments, anonymous group admins and others have been introduced to the app.

These features will help in easily managing the shared contents, writes The Economic Times. ‘Search Filter’ is used to search for specific messages from the past. The users can search chats, media, links, files, music and voice messages.

In the new update, the app has also added a comment button. This feature is named as Channel Comments. Channel Comments is only applicable for channel where separate discussion group is linked with the channel. Through the feature, users are redirected to a separate group where they can see and reply to the comments made by members.

The app has also included a feature ‘Anonymous Group Admins’. This feature helps to turn any admin’s identity anonymous in a group and all messages sent by admins of the group will reflect in name of the group.
