Trump returns to White House, removes mask despite infection
Agency: US President Donald Trump has returned to White House after being discharged from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md hospital. However, he has not recovered from the infection. It is reported that he will be under special care at White House.
He was sent to the hospital after being diagnosed with coronavirus.
With 29 days until the election, according to The Washington Post, Trump’s doctor also said that he is unclear when President Trump would no longer be able to infect others.
After returning to the White House, the President removed the mask and reached a balcony. He gave a double thumbs up and saluted soldiers below.
“Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!” he tweeted.
On the other side, former Vice-President and democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said that he would make masks and social distancing as part of the federal response to contain Covid 19 if elected President. He also criticized Trump for his Tweets.
