Instagram brings new feature on the occasion of its 10th anniversary

Instagram, Facebook’s photo-sharing app, has launched new features including a stories map and hiding potentially offensive comments and expanding push warnings.

 

Through the stories map feature, the users can share a private map and calendar of the stories shared in last three years. They will be able to share, download and save stories.

The popular photo app is also testing new feature that automatically hides comments that have been reported. Any comment violating the community guidelines will be removed, writes The Economic Times.

 

The app is also introducing additional warning if people attempt to post offensive comments repeatedly.

 

Instagram celebrated its 10^th anniversary on October 6.  The photo sharing app was founded in 2010.

 

The app has around one billion active users a month, writes the BBC UK. Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger.
