NepalKhoj Report 10 Nov, 2020

Agency: UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that although the coronavirus vaccine has cleared a significant hurdle, there are several more to go.

Johnson said that the early findings showing a jab could prevent 90 percent people getting Covid-19. But he warned people that it was “very, very early”, reports BBC.

UK PM Johnson said that if and when the vaccine will be approved for use, UK will be ready to use it.

He said that 40 million dose would be enough to vaccinate up to 20 million people. UK is near the front of the queue of countries securing the shot.

It is reported that the vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech can prevent more than 90 percent people from getting Covid-19. This is the preliminary analysis, reports BBC.

By the end of the month, the companies are planning to apply for emergency approval to use the vaccine.
