Laxmi Bank opens three new branches

Kathmandu: Laxmi Bank has opened three new branches today at Tokha, Mulpani and Sundhara (Patan) of Bagmati Province.

According to a press release issued by the bank, the newly opened branches are located at Ward no. 8 of Lalitpur Metropolis; Ward no. 7 of Gokarneswor Municipality and Ward no. 3 of Tokha Municipality and will operate as a full-fledged retail branch.

Laxmi Bank’s network now includes 124 branches across 48 districts, seven extension counters, five hospital service counters, 155 ATMs, 2500 remittance agents, and 61 branchless banking units.

The bank says it is rapidly expanding to new and underserved markets with the aim of providing quality services to fulfill the growing demand for professional financial services such as innovative savings accounts, term deposits, home and auto loans, small business loans etc.

The bank also actively promotes digital channels such as Internet and mobile banking to complement the growing number of branches as a part of its “Bricks and Clicks” strategy, and even more so during these times.

“This has allowed our customers to reach us through the channel of their choice: branches, ATMs, Internet or mobile banking,” the statement said.
