New height of Mount Everest is 8848.86 metres

Kathmandu: Nepal government and China government has announced the height of Mount Everest. The height is 8848.86 metres.

During a virtual ceremony, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and Padma Kumari Aryal, Land Management Minister of Nepal and Foreign Affairs Minister of China Wang Yi announced the height of Mount Everest on Tuesday.
