British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has reportedly said that there is a strong possibility that the UK will fail to strike a post-Brexit trade deal.
According to BBC, the PM said that “now is the time” for firms and people to prepare for a no deal outcome.
The time is running out to reach an agreement before the UK stops following EU trade rules on December 31.
Despite the intensive talks, the officials have not been able to overcome obstacles in key areas. They have not been able to come to an agreement with the rules and fishing rights.
PM Johnson met European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Wednesday. However, any breakthrough could not be made.
PM Johnson flew to Brussels on December 9 to meet Leyen.
