UK and EU to continue talks on Brexit

Agency: The United Kingdom and the European Union have agreed to carry on post-Brexit talks, according to BBC.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and EU President Ursula von der Leyen said in a joint statement on Sunday that it was possible to go the extra mile .

The two reportedly discussed “major unresolved topics” during their call.

The UK PM and EU President agreed to continue the talks.  However, they did not say how long these talks will carry on. The ultimate deadline is December 31, writes BBC.

According to BBC, time must be given for the UK and European parliaments to vote on any deal which emerges before then.
